Bluetooth Cat Tracker with iOS and Android App, Waterproof, Proximity Alert up to 10 Meters, CR2032 Included, 5 Colors | CASA SOREA

A cat who was supposed to stay indoors but still got out

Cats hide in places you’d never think to look: the neighbors’ shed, a crawl space, the top shelf of a cupboard. This Bluetooth tracker attaches to the collar and works with the iSearching app for iOS and Android. You get a proximity alert within about 10 meters, which is exactly the distance at which you can’t see anything yourself, but your cat is somewhere nearby. The tracker is waterproof, runs on a CR2032 coin cell with up to six months of standby time, and comes with a battery included. Available in five colors.

Specifications and what they mean

• Proximity alert up to 10 meters via Bluetooth: designed to tell you whether your cat is nearby and exactly where—not to track her across an entire neighborhood.
• App for iOS and Android: iSearching works on both systems, so your housemate can check too.
• Waterproof: keeps working if she comes home in a rain shower or has been sitting in a watering can.
• Very light and small: the whole device is no bigger than necessary for a CR2032 coin cell, so it adds hardly any weight to the collar.
• CR2032 included, up to 6 months of standby time: no charging cable, and a standard coin cell you can find in any supermarket.
• Key ring and adhesive strip included: attach it to a collar with the ring, or to a flat surface with the strip.
• Five colors: black, white, blue, green, or pink.

Practical tips for using it with a cat

Attach the tracker to a breakaway collar, so the collar comes off if your cat gets caught on something. Pair it with the app before putting the collar on, and test the range indoors: Bluetooth reaches less than the 10 meters you get in open air through a wall or floor, so the signal disappears sooner than you might expect if she’s on a lower floor. Set a reminder to replace the coin cell every six months. Since the tracker is waterproof, you don’t need to take it off when she goes outside.
