Water filter for camping: don't carry what you can find along the way

Using it on the go

Preferably drink from running water rather than a pool: stagnant water contains more suspended dirt, which clogs the filter more quickly. Rinse the filter with clean water after every trip and let it dry completely before storing it; otherwise, it will start to smell.
